JP Compost: un ganador de Eurovisión y un showman del rock ‘n’ roll en «Swift Swift Swift»

JP Compost es una alianza entre la experiencia y la energía del rock ‘n’ roll de toda la vida. Detrás del nombre está Jean Paul Furnemont, compositor belga con más de medio siglo de trayectoria y un dato que no se puede dejar pasar: es el autor de «J’aime la vie», la canción con la que Bélgica ganó el Festival de Eurovisión en 1986.

Al otro lado del escenario está JIMI ANGEL, cantante y showman que interpreta a los grandes del género, de Elvis Presley a Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry o Eddie Cochran. Furnemont, que toca la guitarra en su banda en directo, vio el magnetismo que Jimi despliega sobre las tablas y decidió escribirle un álbum entero a medida: diez canciones originales con las que el cantante sueña con llevar su repertorio a Estados Unidos, la cuna del rock ‘n’ roll.

«Swift Swift Swift» es la nueva muestra de esa aventura: una composición de Furnemont que junta melodías pegadizas con la fuerza vocal y la actitud de JIMI ANGEL. Piano y voz al frente, un tema dinámico hecho por y para amantes del espíritu rock. Salió el 14 de octubre y llega tras «Home Life», el primer adelanto del disco.

JP Compost is an alliance between experience and the raw energy of old-school rock ‘n’ roll. Behind the name is Jean Paul Furnemont, a Belgian songwriter with more than half a century in music and one fact you can’t skip: he wrote «J’aime la vie», the song that won the Eurovision Song Contest for Belgium in 1986.

On the other side of the stage stands JIMI ANGEL, singer and showman who performs the giants of the genre, from Elvis Presley to Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran. Furnemont, who plays guitar in his live band, saw the magnetism Jimi brings on stage and decided to write him a whole album: ten original songs that the singer dreams of taking to the United States, the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll.

«Swift Swift Swift» is the latest chapter of that adventure: a Furnemont composition that pairs catchy melodies with JIMI ANGEL’s vocal punch and attitude. Piano and vocals up front, a lively track made by and for lovers of the true rock spirit. It came out on October 14, following «Home Life», the album’s first single.
