Brian James & The Boys Of Summer keep the faith with “Believe”

🇬🇧 English version

From Leiden in the Netherlands, Brian James & The Boys Of Summer bring «Believe» to our radio, one of the songs from «Hold On Tight», their second album, released on February 27.

The band plays a contemporary sound rooted in ’70s and ’80s rock and pop. After their debut, «Keep On Movin'», singer-songwriter Brian James, Ewald Ebing (keys and bass), Gerard Beelen (drums) and Eltjo Cleton (guitar) carry on down the same road and broaden their repertoire.

The album’s thread is a universal tension: following your heart or doing what your head says. «Hold On Tight» is about perseverance, believing in yourself, connecting and holding on to what truly matters. Singers Pam MacBeth and Jitteke Blussé join them again, co-producer Lucas Meijers recorded and mixed it at The Eminent Studios, and the artwork is by Barbara van Druten: a 100% Leiden production.

«Believe» is already in rotation on The Beerman Club Radio, in our October playlist and in the Song of the Month vote.
