Lunar Division get “Convinced” ahead of their “Fresh Air” EP

Desde Oklahoma City (Estados Unidos), Lunar Division presentan «Convinced», el primer adelanto de «Fresh Air», un EP de tres canciones que verá la luz el 20 de noviembre.

La canción mezcla la crudeza del rock alternativo y el grunge de los noventa con melodías de indie rock: riffs de guitarra que empujan, voces potentes y una energía que retrata muy bien hacia dónde va ahora la banda.

Lunar Division nacieron en 2019 y son Randy Mitchell (guitarra y voz), Paul Nguyen (guitarra), Matt Lanzer (bajo) y Brandon Napoleon (batería y voz). Se han hecho un nombre a base de temas propios y de directos en citas de su tierra como el Norman Music Festival o el Plaza District Festival.

«Fresh Air» lo han producido y mezclado Gilson Machtolff en 33rd Street Studio, con masterización de Nicolas Fournier. Junto a «Convinced» llegarán la canción que da título al EP, que Brandon Napoleon escribió en memoria de su abuela, y el cierre reflexivo de «Appreciate»: tres canciones sobre resistir, ganar perspectiva y encontrar fuerzas para seguir adelante. El single «Fresh Air» sale el 23 de octubre.

From Oklahoma City, USA, Lunar Division present «Convinced», the first taste of «Fresh Air», a three-song EP due out on November 20.

The song blends the grit of ’90s alternative rock and grunge with indie-rock melodies: driving guitar riffs, powerful vocals and an energy that captures exactly where the band is heading now.

Formed in 2019, Lunar Division are Randy Mitchell (guitar and vocals), Paul Nguyen (guitar), Matt Lanzer (bass) and Brandon Napoleon (drums and vocals). They have built their name on original songs and live shows at home-state events such as Norman Music Festival and Plaza District Festival.

«Fresh Air» was produced and mixed by Gilson Machtolff at 33rd Street Studio and mastered by Nicolas Fournier. Alongside «Convinced» come the title track, which Brandon Napoleon wrote in memory of his grandmother, and the reflective closer «Appreciate»: three songs about resilience, perspective and finding the strength to keep going. The «Fresh Air» single is out on October 23.
