Mama No Likey catch the Venice Beach spirit in “Venice Soul”

Protector solar opcional.
🇬🇧 English version
Mama No Likey are heading to the beach. The Los Angeles project of drummer and songwriter William Haupricht and guitarist and songwriter Troy Gale releases «Venice Soul» today, October 16th: a sun-soaked pop-rock anthem inspired by the energy, the characters and the free-spirited culture of Venice Beach, California.
Infectious groove, catchy melodies, spirited guitars and a horn section that brings the party: it sounds like an afternoon on the boardwalk, where the ocean meets the promenade and being different is something to celebrate. Underneath there’s a message: Venice isn’t just a place, it’s a state of mind — the freedom to live your own way, to your own beat. The chorus is built around «feelin’ Venice High», with the horns closing the deal right after.
Since debuting with «Mrs. Davis» in April 2025, the duo, who work with producer Philip Paulsen, have racked up more than 470,000 Spotify streams across nine releases, including «Slow and Steady», «Brightstar», «Alive» and «Light Up The Night», which already played on our radio. «Venice Soul» blends their classic-rock roots with modern pop-rock and funk-flavoured rhythms.
«Venice Soul» joins The Beerman Club Radio rotation today, our October playlist and the race for La Canción del Mes. Sunscreen optional.
