Luca DG sifts through what a breakup leaves behind on “Static”

🇬🇧 English version

London-based Luca DG presents «Static», his new single, out today, October 23.

Luca DG is an Italian singer-songwriter who has called London home since 2009, and «Static» is his new English-language track. He steps away from guitars to build something intimate: minimalist piano, ambient layers and very subtle electronics.

The song explores the memories that linger after a breakup, that background noise that never quite fades. To keep it this close and vulnerable, Luca recorded the vocals himself and handled the mix and master. The cover photo is by Jo Ferrandu.

«Static» is already on our October playlist and in the running for Song of the Month.
