The Dead Daisies estrenan voz y era con «Lift Me Up»

¡Vamos a reventarlo!», cuenta Hansen.
🇬🇧 English version
The Dead Daisies are kicking off a new era in style: Kelly Hansen, Foreigner’s frontman for twenty years, now leads the hard rock supergroup, and they’re celebrating with “Lift Me Up”, a brand-new single with a music video.
The line-up speaks for itself: alongside Hansen you’ll find Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) on guitar, David Lowy (MINK, Red Phoenix) on rhythm guitar, Tommy Clufetos (Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne) on drums and Jimi Crutchley (The Quireboys) on bass. “When I left Foreigner I told everybody I wasn’t retiring, just moving on to other things. This project lets me stretch out with new melodies and fresh energy. We’re gonna rock it!”, says Hansen.
According to Aldrich, “Lift Me Up” started as a dead simple guitar riff and a heavy groove, and the melody just grew from there. The result is a guitar-driven rock anthem, packed with hooks and an uplifting message “to lift us up in these crazy times”. It’s the first taste of the album the band is recording right now.
Then it’s time to hit the road: Europe and the UK in March 2027 with The Quireboys and The Gems, a US leg in April and May with BulletBoys and The Fell (featuring Billy Sheehan) wrapping up in Los Angeles, and Scandinavia in September. Having a band with this kind of track record walk into our bar is a real treat, and we’re welcoming them the way they deserve: with the volume all the way up.
